Spaghetti & Meatballs
Today's Weigh In - 233.8 pounds
On the plus side, i didn't put any weight on overnight. Only problem is is that i know that i will definitely put weight on tonight since i'm having my favourite dish for dinner *sadface*.
Today's events were nondescript, so i will not waste time reviewing them. Instead, i would like to focus on GTAIV - and the final hours of the story missions. Today's sessions were quite blurred as i completed the remaining story missions at different times of the day (due to constant distractions and the like) so instead i will be assorting my gaming sessions into morning, afternoon and evening sessions respectively.
The morning session saw the completion of seven missions, completed in the following order:
Truck Hustle
Blood Brothers
Undertaker
Pegorino's Pride
Payback
I'll Take Her (Part 1)
I'll Take Her (Part 2)
During this session, a singular trophy was obtained. It was:
Gracefully Taken - completed the mission "I'll Take Her".
The afternoon session saw the completion of nine more missions, completed in the following order:
Entourage
Dining Out
Liquidize the Assets
Catch the Wave
Trespass
To Live and Die in Alderney
Ransom
Flatline
Pest Control
The evening session saw the completion of the final missions of the game. These were completed as follows:
That Special Someone
She's A Keeper
Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend
One Last Thing....
A Dish Served Cold
Mr. and Mrs. Bellic
Out of Commission
This final session drew on well into the night (and the early hours of the following day) and saw the completion of the main storyline, and the presentation of several trophies. The trophies awarded in this session were:
That Special Someone - completed the mission "That Special Someone".
You Won! - completed all the storyline missions.
Liberty City Minute - completed all the storyline missions in less than 30 hours.
At present, i am sitting on 34% completion of trophies in GTAIV, and i am hoping to spend some time collecting them all over the coming weeks. I will be sure to keep posting any relevant updates when they come around.
Today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful was not very interesting as it was just following on from the past few days' events (see my previous posts for the week for more news on this). I just can't really be bothered reiterating it again.
I ended up doing a "Which GTAIV character are you?" quiz and my results are below.
Until next post, ciao! xD

A Little Pissed Off....
Today's Weigh In - 233.8 pounds
Fuck. After all that effort yesterday, i still ended up putting weight on. Damn it! As you can evidently see, i am quite pissed off about that. Fortunately, the rest of my day was quite good.
Nothing of significance happened today, so instead i will recap the rest of the day's events.
Straight off the bat, the recap of today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Not much happened at all in the episode - basically it was what i like to call an "extension" episode - an episode where nothing really happens and the characters just keep going over the same topics and issues. Hope and Brooke just continued chatting about Oliver, while Steffy tried to persuade Oliver to break up with Hope and help her get rid of the Logans once and for all. Same old, same old. More info to post hopefully tomorrow on the upcoming events.
Next on the list - Mafia Wars. Today's playthrough saw the completion of the "Soldier" tier jobs (at last!) However, my time searching for vault collections from that tier is far from over. I still have to complete the four collections from that tier (which i will do part-time if i have periods of spare energy available over the coming weeks).
My reward for completing the tier was the Golden Skull, a very nice item that grants a 30 second reduction on the health regen timer (basically now it only takes 4 and a half minutes to regain a point of health instead of the full five minutes). Additionally, i also fought and silenced Luis Castana, the Soldier tier's boss. In return, i gained a Pair of Broken Glasses, an otherwise useless item, but good for miscellaneous collection.
I did, however, gain some nice experience points from the encounter (64 XP for a mere 32 energy is a pretty damn good trade off). Hopefully tomorrow shall prove to be another day of efficient leveling and treasure hunting :)
In regards to GTAIV - what a day. Two more sessions were completed today, this time however there was a brief hour period of multiplayer gaming in between sessions (between 2 - 3pm).
The first session (10 - 12), saw the completion of seven missions, all predominately for Ray Boccino, with the exception of a sole mission for Roman.
The missions were:
A Long Way To Fall
Taking In The Trash
Meltdown
Museum Piece
No Way on the Subway
Weekend At Florian's
Late Checkout
This session also saw the collection of another trophy, this one being:
Impossible Trinity - completed the mission "Museum Piece".
The brief multiplayer session was quite fun and saw the collection of an additional trophy. The trophy obtained in this session was:
Teamplayer - killed 5 opposing team players.
Meanwhile, the second session of GTAIV saw the completion of an additional eight missions. The mission givers for this session were Gerry McReary (the first 2 of his missions), Derrick McReary (all 3 missions) and Bernie Crane (all 3 missions).
The missions were completed in the following order:
Actions Speak Louder Than Words
I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots, And Your Motorcycle
Smackdown
Babysitting
Tunnel of Death
Hating the Haters
Union Drive
Buoys Ahoy
Two more trophies were collected during this session, namely:
Pool Shark - beat a friend at pool.
That's How We Roll! - unlocked the special ability of Brucie's heli rides.
Well, that was my day. Until tomorrow, ciao! xD

Expanding Thou Mafia
Today's Weigh In - 233.2 pounds
Admittedly, when i woke up this morning, i was kind of disappointed. Not only did i not lose any weight, the opposite had occurred - i had put on weight. However, after a day of eating predominately healthy and doing both Cardio Salsa and a 25 minute bike ride, i'm hoping that i shall lose a considerable amount of weight overnight.
Alas, i digress. On with the day's events.
Not much happened at all today, aside from my daily affairs (GTAIV, driving to pick my sisters up, etc). However, of particular note, was my mother's ecstatic face when she came back from Centrelink today and prepared for an interview with a free recruiting agency that she had been directed to. Although it's still a bit early to tell, Mum might finally be getting a job, her first one in over 25 years! Hurrah! xD
Today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful carried on from yesterday's episode - however this time Steffy is taking her endgame a little too far. Fresh from her recent firing at Forrester Creations, she decided to get back at Hope and Brooke in the only remaining avenue she has left - seduce Hope's boyfriend Oliver. The episode finished with Steffy on top of him, trying to convince him to have sex with her, even though he is fully aware that she is using him. Whether he goes through with the deed we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
In regards to gaming - today's playthrough of GTAIV was very productive and on schedule. The two sessions played today (10-12 and 5-7) saw the completion of a number of missions and the collecting of several more trophies.
The first session saw the completion of eight missions (Elizabeta's last two missions, both of Dwayne's missions, 1 of Roman's missions and 3 of the U.L. Paper missions). The missions completed were:
The Snow Storm
Have A Heart
Ruff Rider
Undress to Kill
Hostile Negotiation
Wrong Is Right
Portrait of a Killer
Dust Off
I also collected a trophy in this session. The trophy was:
Gobble Gobble - scored a turkey in bowling.
The second session saw the completion of an additional six missions for various characters (U.L. Paper's last mission, all 3 of Packie's missions, and the last two of Playboy X's missions). The missions were completed in the following order:
Paper Trail
Harboring A Grudge
Waste Not Want Knots
Three Leaf Clover
The Holland Play (Part 1)
The Holland Play (Part 2)
I also collected an additional trophy in this session. This one being:
Full Exploration - unlocked all the islands.
In regards to Mafia Wars, i am at present still working on the "Soldier" tier and currently attempting to complete 4 different vault collections. On the plus side though, i received 8 invites from various Mafia Wars players to join their mafias, and in doing so, my mafia has become a hell of a lot stronger and more dangerous in the faces of enemies. I have a feeling that by tomorrow night's post, i should be finished the current tier jobs and can finally move on to the next level. At present, for those who are curious, my character Don Benji, is at Level 22 and is a Mogul character (the one who makes money faster).
Now that i have my own Top Mafia members (2 close friends, and a couple of the random mafia addys) i think i am set to start dishing out some pain to rival mafia groups. I shall report on my fights next post.
That's all i have for now. Until next post, ciao! xD

Tuesday Afternoon Blues
Today's Weigh In - 233.0 pounds
Today was a predominately uneventful day. I did the usual stuff today (ie/ played GTAIV, did chores around the house, drove around to get my minutes up, etc). So i don't really have much to report on the events of the day.
However, in regards to other things, i can be more informative.
First off the bat - today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. The episode surprised me, as i was expecting Hope to break down on stage or run off. However, she did the complete opposite - she improvised her entire speech and was rewarded by a congratulatory ovation from the press and the onlookers.
What was even more interesting was the events that occurred afterwards. Hope confronted Steffy about the sabotaged event, and even Steffy didn't anticipate the consequences of her actions. Ridge, after discovering what his daughter had done, fired her from her position as head of PR. Bam! - 1 point to Hope. Looks like Steffy and Pam's anti-Logan campaign might finally be over.
Speaking of Pam, interesting to note - she was approached by a reporter who believed that she might know about the sabotaged event and was willing to give Pam a spot on the cover of a magazine if she leaked information to him. Although she was whisked away before she could reveal anything, i have a feeling that something may progress here.
Moving on, today's playthrough of GTAIV was very productive as well. The two sessions played today (10.30 - 12.30 and 6.30 - 8.30) saw the completion of a bunch of missions for various characters. Although only one trophy was unlocked today, tomorrow's playthrough should hopefully prove more rewarding.
The first session saw the completion of seven more missions (Two of Manny's missions, the remaining three of Brucie's missions, and two of Elizabeta's missions). They were completed in the following order:
Escuela of the Streets
Street Sweeper
Out of the Closet (Part 1)
Out of the Closet (Part 2)
No. 1
Luck of the Irish
Blow Your Cover
I also completed another Random Pedestrian mission. This time for:
Mel
The single trophy awarded today was:
Retail Therapy - unlocked the special ability of Little Jacob's discounted guns.
The second session saw the completion of an additional eight missions (Manny's last mission, two of Playboy X's missions, and five of Francis' missions) . The missions completed were:
The Puerto Rican Connection
Deconstruction for Beginners
Photo Shoot
Call and Collect
Final Interview (Part 1)
Final Interview (Part 2)
Holland Nights
Lure
I also completed an additional Random Pedestrian mission in this session. This time it was for:
Illyena Faustin
During the course of the day, i also completed 10 Vigilante missions. I only need another 10 more to unlock the trophy.
Well that's all i have to report for today. Until tomorrow, ciao! xD

Driving Around Town
Today's Weigh In - 233.2 pounds
Today was a fairly ordinary and routine day. I didn't do much exercise today ( a mere ten minutes on the exercise bike) as i spent most of the day yawning and trying to fight off tiredness.
I picked my sisters up from school with Mum and then drove them to the doctors'. Mum vanished into the building and my sisters and i were having one of our random chats - this time about Tabatha (from 'Tabatha's Salon Takeover') and Florian (from 'GTAIV').
Mum got her results back and it seems that she had been suffering from a mild case of food poisoning (which she suggestively may have gotten from eating the pot full of veggies, potato and mince that she had been eating for breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days straight). She is all better now, which is a relief.
Meanwhile at home, i spent a fair chunk of today watching the news with Dad and following the day's events in regards to the upcoming federal election. Not much occurred apart from the two parties making pledges to improve Australia (Labor's proposed Principal scheme, and the Liberal's tourism pledge).
Of particular note in the news, however, was the report that Julia Gillard claimed that she would be stepping up her game and reveal the 'real' Julia. Considering there is less than three weeks to go until the election, and with both parties neck and neck for top spot, it seems a bit suss to me that she has been holding back until now. Hmm.
Speaking of television, today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful was very dramatic. Steffy and Pam's plan to sabotage Hope's press confrence came to fruition as the TelePrompTer was disconnected, and a frightened Hope Logan was even more embarrased when her lit up name shorted out the P and E, leaving her name as 'HO LOGAN'. I can see next episode shit is going to go down. Brooke is going to crack the shits with Steffy big time.
Meanwhile, Donna and Katie were trying to calm down their father who was fuming after Donna was carried away from Forrester Creations in a pest exterminator truck (courtesy of Pam). This event combined with Hope's embarrasing confrence will most likely result in an aggressive comeback from the Logan family. Only time will tell.
In regards to gaming, i had a productive and successful day playing GTAIV. Playing two sessions today (10:30 - 12:30 and 5:30 - 7:30), i managed to get a number of missions done and dusted, along with some side missions.
The first session saw the completion of six missions (the remaining 4 of Faustin's missions, Little Jacob's last mission, and another mission for Roman). The missions were completed in the following order:
Do You Have Protection?
Final Destination
No Love Lost
Shadow
Logging On
Rigged to Blow
Unfortunately, i didn't unlock any trophies this session, nor did i complete any side missions. However, in the second session i make up for it.
The second session saw the completion of five more missions (2 of Brucie's missions, both of Dimitri's missions, and another of Roman's missions). They were completed in the order listed below:
Search and Delete
Easy As Can Be
The Master and the Molotov
Russian Revolution
Roman's Sorrow
In regards to trophies, i managed to unlock two trophies this session. They were:
Lowest Point - completed the mission "Roman's Sorrow".
One Hundred and Eighty - scored a 180 in darts.
Courier Service - completed Little Jacob's drug deliveries.
I also completed some more Random Pedestrian missions in this session. They were:
Brian (3rd Encounter)
Badman
EDIT: Additionally, i set up my online gaming profile on the Playstation Network today as well, and since i was wide awake at 11PM, i decided to have a crack at the GTAIV Multiplayer games. They were quite entertaining, and i managed to unlock two multiplayer trophies in the process. The trophies were:
Cut Your Teeth - ascended a rank in multiplayer mode.
Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie - killed a Rockstar player in multiplayer mode.
In regards to Mafia Wars, i completed the "Associate" tier today, mastering all jobs and unlocking the Roadster (a 7% damage reduction against enemy attacks). I also completed the Heart Flush collection (resulting in a nice +5 max health boost!)
Well, that was my day pretty much. Until next post, ciao! xD

Enrollment Complete!
Today's Weigh In - 234.2 pounds
Today marked my first day of starting my new routine. In following it, i managed to get several things done today that i've been putting off for a long time.
First off, i did a heap of exercise today, and i feel so much better (it's been about a week since i've actually done anything remotely considered exercise). I started off my exercise regime by completing the 45 minute Cardio Salsa workout video at about midday, followed by a ten minute bike ride that i just finished before sitting down to write here.
I also got my enrollment with Open Universities Australia done and dusted. I managed to find my Tax File Number and i applied for FEE-HELP so i can do my writing courses without having to worry about amassing the funds to pay for the courses in question. Big relief. I'm actually looking forward to September now - i can't wait to get these classes started with! xD
In regards to gaming, i wiped my PS3 and started anew with a new profile and a new game in GTAIV.
I divided today's gaming period into two sessions - the first one from 1pm until 3pm and the second one from 7pm until 9pm.
In the first gaming session for today, i completed seven missions (6 of Roman's missions and Michelle's single mission). The missions i completed were (in the order of completion):
The Cousins Bellic
It's Your Call
Three's A Crowd
First Date
Bleed Out
Easy Fare
Jamaican Heat
I also completed 5 of Roman's Taxi Fare missions, and collected two trophies during the session:
Off the Boat - completed the first mission.
Warm Coffee - get invited into your girlfriend's house.
I also bumped into two Random Pedestrian missions during this session. They were:
Brian (1st Encounter)
Brian (2nd Encounter)
For the second session, i completed an additional seven missions (all 4 of Vlad's missions, 1 of Little Jacob's missions, 1 of Roman's missions and 1 of Faustin's missions). I completed them in the following order:
Bull in a China Shop
Hung Out to Dry
Clean Getaway
Ivan The Not So Terrible
Concrete Jungle
Uncle Vlad
Crime and Punishment
I also finished off the last 5 of Roman's Taxi Fare missions, and collected an additional two trophies. The trophies collected in this session were:
Driving Mr. Bellic - unlocked the special ability of Roman's taxi.
Fed the Fish - completed the mission "Uncle Vlad".
On the topic of games, i also played some more Mafia Wars today (2nd day playing) and i managed to complete the "Street Thug" tier, along with full mastery of all jobs. Additionally, i vaulted my Diamond Flush collection, resulting in a nice +1 energy boost and 7 Tripwires. I also got the Pistol Bayonet ( a 4% damage bonus when in fights). Very nice. xD
Overall, today was a very productive day on all fronts, and i hope to lose some weight overnight. Though i'm trying to be realistic about my weight loss, i secretly hope that i can manage to slip below 230 pounds by next Sunday. Here's to a hopefully productive and fat-burning week! xD
Today marked my first day of starting my new routine. In following it, i managed to get several things done today that i've been putting off for a long time.
